ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

We are committed to producing high-quality, clean-burning, and safe products for our customers by utilizing natural waxes such as soy and coconut apricot (without paraffin), phthalate-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks. Each product undergoes rigorous safety and quality testing before being released to the public. Our evaluation process consists of two phases. In Phase I, we conduct burn tests in accordance with candle burning recommendations: each test includes four-hour burns for the entire life of the candle, proper wick trimming between sessions, and monitoring the external temperature of the container. During these evaluations, we also assess factors such as flame size and stability, sooting, mushrooming of the wick, and the size and depth of the melt pool. These observations help us determine if any modifications are necessary. Once a product meets the Phase I criteria, it progresses to Phase II, which involves real-world application testing. While extended burning is not recommended, we recognize that candles may occasionally be left burning longer than the suggested four hours. In this phase, we increase only the burn time while continuing to monitor flame behavior, wax melt, and container temperatures. This process is repeated until the product consistently meets our standards.

Due to the natural properties of soy wax, it is common for the tops of candles to become slightly rough, for wet spots to appear along the jar, and for frosting to develop as the ambient temperature changes or as the candle resets after burning. These characteristics are natural and do not affect the performance or quality of the candle. Some candles may leave a small amount of residual wax during burning, which typically dissipates by the third or fourth four-hour session. Numerous variables can influence candle performance, including environmental conditions such as air flow, breezes, and ambient temperature. Our testing has sometimes indicated that using a smaller wick than standard recommendations is preferable, prioritizing customer safety over minimal wax residue.
